B.B.Hamel has a way with words, I was rooting for Brooks and Emma from the beginning and I was curious to see how Brooks saved Emma as well as himself from the Mafia he worked for. The suspense was literally driving me crazy and I couldn't put this book down. This is a must read. I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review
If you're looking for a swift, sexy, easy flowing read..pick up a book by B.B. Hamel! Her style is very easy to read and the sex scenes are off the chart HOT! I just really wanted to read more about Brooks and Emma at the end. Otherwise, 4.5 stars! As usual, this book has a happy ending, dual point of views and lots of steamy sex! (ARC review)

Who doesn't like reading about a bad boy killer with a heart? I love a bad boy but the main character Brooks wasn't bad enough for me. I liked the story and I'm not saying he was a wimp but I think if you are going to title it as him being a bad boy with the mafia he should be real bad. It is a romance novel and Mrs B.B definitely brings that aspect to the story. What I really like that she didn't make Emma, the other main character in the book, being a virgin the main focus in the book. Many stories I've read seem to make the women look weak and fragile. Emma was a strong character in her own right. I really enjoyed this book.
first let me say ms hamel's books are smoking hot the stories are to die for thats how great they are you really can't put them down once you start reading them.(BUT) this adding at least 25% of the next book stinks i feel like i have to buy the next book so now i have 4 or five books that i don't read of the( next book) because i feel like i'am being pushed to buy the next one also it's like paying full price for a book that's half read already dont get me wrong these books are (GREAT) soooo good but when you buy a book that has three hundred plus pages you don't want a hundred that is part of the next book ms hamel please stop doing this believe me your books will sell because they are that (GOOD)no that (GREAT) everyone if you want a smoking hot read for the summer( buy.buy buy)just go down the line of these books you can't miss. happy reading.
Brooks is the antihero of this story. Dark and violent, he does his job without feeling and as he is directed. He is the man who dies need anything or anyone and will never get close enough to a women to find love; except he meets Emma and all those thoughts change. Emma is a woman in need of saving from her abusive father and needs a strong man to protect her. She is on the softer side, a nice balance to Brookes. This story was action packed and made me excited to turn the pages. The characters were great and this story had a lot of great lines.
I received an ARC for an honest review. Wow. Ms Hamel has done it again - another winner! I couldn't put this book down! Brooks is a hitman for the Barone family. On a routine hit, he is checking for others in the house when he finds a battered and beautiful Emma hiding in the closet. He's about to keep her hidden but his hit partner sees her so Brooks claims her as his temporary prize knowing that that means he's supposed to kill her soon. Brooks is well known in the mob for not being willing to kill women and because he's an excellent hit an, they let him get away with it. He never intends to kill Emma but he pretty much spends the rest of the story trying to figure out how to keep her safe and alive and also keep himself alive alive. If he doesn't follow thru and kill his prize, the mob will kill him. Brooks and Emma have hot chemistry, the pages sizzle. They may have feelings for each other? Amid all the violence, rivalry, human trafficking, hits, hidden agendas, betrayals....there's so much going on, it makes your head spin! But you'll find that through it all you want Brooks and Emma safe and preferably with each other, hopefully. Read the book!!
