Lil is still a fun, strong character in the third book of her Dead End Dating Series. There were several parts of this book that had me laugh out loud, and that is always a good thing. After the first book in the series, I reported that I felt this almost felt like a pale imitation of MJD's Undead series. Well, I must say I enjoyed this book much more than I did the newest Betsy book, "Undead and Uneasy". This book is so strong with its Vampire Dating Service plots and the interesting people Lil meets through her job (and via her family) that I think the series could revolve soley among those aspects, and remain a comic vampire tale. YCOM? actually messes up when it becomes lost in the 'mystery' aspects involving her kinda boyfriend Ty's disappearance. The resolution to this mystery is tired, boring, and too forced. I found myself not really caring about this afterthought of a plot. But I couldn't wait to get back to the juicy bits about Killer, the cat, and the wedding plans for her brother and soon to be sister in law. And of course any parts involving clients of Dead End Dating. This is still a fairly solid, (although lightweight) series, three novels deep. I can only hope that more of what makes this book strong, finds its way into further volumes. Ms. Raye should realize she doesn't necessarily need to follow the formula of other sucessful vampire fiction to create her own gem here.Tags : Amazon.com: Your Coffin or Mine?: A Novel of Vampire Love (Dead End Dating, Book 3) (9780345492180): Kimberly Raye: Books,Kimberly Raye,Your Coffin or Mine?: A Novel of Vampire Love (Dead End Dating, Book 3),Ballantine Books,0345492188,Romance - Contemporary,Romance - Paranormal,Dating services - New York (State) - New York,Love stories,Manhattan (New York, N.Y.),Occult fiction,Vampires,AMERICAN LIGHT ROMANTIC FICTION,FICTION Gothic,FICTION Romance Contemporary,FICTION Romance Fantasy,FICTION Romance General,FICTION Romance Paranormal General,Fiction,Fiction - Romance,Fiction-Romance,General Adult,Gothic,HORROR FICTION,MASS MARKET,Modern & contemporary fiction (post c 1945),RomanceModern,Romance: Modern,United States, vampires; romance; dead end dating; paranormal romance; fiction; paranormal; supernatural; romance books; romance novels; women; relationship books; books for women; relationships; family; contemporary romance; relationship; contemporary; dating and relationships; family life; saga; womens fiction; contemporary fiction; women's fiction; contemporary womens fiction; love story; drama; contemporary women; family saga; modern; romantic; genre fiction; romance contemporary; romance novel; romance fiction; romantic fiction; sagas, vampires;romance;dead end dating;paranormal romance;fiction;paranormal;supernatural;romance books;romance novels;women;relationship books;books for women;relationships;family;contemporary romance;relationship;contemporary;dating and relationships;family life;saga;womens fiction;contemporary fiction;women's fiction;contemporary womens fiction;love story;drama;contemporary women;family saga;modern;romantic;genre fiction;romance contemporary;romance novel;romance fiction;romantic fiction;sagas,FICTION Gothic,FICTION Romance Contemporary,FICTION Romance Fantasy,FICTION Romance General,FICTION Romance Paranormal General,Gothic,Fiction - Romance,American Light Romantic Fiction,Horror Fiction,Fiction,Romance: Modern,Modern & contemporary fiction (post c 1945)
Your Coffin or Mine? A Novel of Vampire Love Dead End Dating Book 3 Kimberly Raye Books Reviews
In Manhattan professional matchmaker BV (beautiful vampiress) Countess Lilliana Arabella Guinevere du Marchette (call her Lil) is hired by a reality TV show to find a match for a famous bachelor. However, that project seems relatively tame when compared to a telepathic message she received from bounty-hunting vampire Ty for help; He vanished several months ago without a trace after a glorious one night with Lil.
As Lil tries to locate Ty in order to rescue him for a second night and who knows what else, she meets homicide detective Ash, who is not human or vampire. They work together seeking to find Ty. At the same time the human fiancé of her brother pleads with Lilliana (not quite one of her best buds yet so Lil is inappropriate) to find the right wedding dress and her mother tries to matchmake her DEAD AND DATELESS daughter with any mortal, vampire, or other ilk as long as they are male.
The latest adventures of that DED (DEAD END DATING) BV Countess Lil is, for the most part, a lighthearted romantic romp although the Ty subplot is a bit darker and much more serious in tone. Fans of the serious will appreciate Lil's fun Manhattan frolic as few authors combine chick lit shtick with vampire bites better than Kimberly Raye does.

I love this series from Kimberly Raye. From the first book on, the story grabs you and it is so funny. It is a "who done it", with romance and comedy added in. I recommend highly.
A great way to spend your lazy Sunday.
I love this author and this series of books. she has a lot of humor and fun wit in her writing. I enjoyed it very much!
Well I was a little disappointed. The title threw me, I was hoping Ty and Lil hit it off in this one, but I guess I will have to read on. The storyline just drug on, everything happened in the last twenty pages. Still confused on how they got title out of the story.
Fun read, Love Lil’s family! I’m really enjoying this series. Kimberly takes the reader on an enjoyable ride along into her made up world!
I was happy to see the third book in this series come out. I really enjoyed the first two, and this is just an extension of those two. Our favorite matchmaking born vampire is back and better than ever. In this fast and furious book Lil is forced to do a number of things we thought we'd never see her do; kicking butt, embarrassing herself to get off a reality TV show, helping set up her brother's wedding to a human and matchmaking the most unmatchable couples. During all of time she is working to find her lost hunky bounty hunter (Ty). This page-turner will take you moments to get through and in enjoyable from start to finish.
